USAID-KMC-SAMRIDH COLLABORATION

Krishna Medical Centre is proud to announce its partnership with SAMRIDH Health, a Healthcare Blended Finance Facility with a focus on respiratory care and rehabilitation for COVID 19 and other respiratory illness.

Sustainable Access to Markets and Resources for Innovative Delivery of Healthcare (SAMRIDH) is supported by the United States Agency for International Development in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission & Women Entrepreneurship Platform, NITI Aayog, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, the National Health Authority, Indian Institute of Technology, Rockefeller Foundation, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Caspian Debt, Centre for Cellular And Molecular Platforms, Crypto Relief and NATHEALTH, and is managed by IPE Global. Through this initiative, SAMRIDH combines commercial capital with public and philanthropic funds to drive greater resources towards market-based health solutions that can improve access to affordable and quality healthcare services for India’s most vulnerable.

Satellite Centres

The existing CHC/PHC’s being operated by the government would be provided communication and man power assistance to integrate them with this project as part of strengthening the outreach and strengthen tele medicines and referral to the advanced respiratory care centre.

5 Satellite Centres are being operated at the Sahiya, Tiuni, Doiwala, Tehri and yamkeshwar, Pauri locations.

Mobile Medical Unit(MMU) Camps

KMC Hospital would join hands with our not for profit wing, the Samarpan Society for Health Research & Development, having its head office in the same premises for the outreach activity. This would be made possible by taking up on lease 05 suitable vehicles for mobile medical Camp aiming at testing and treatment and one bigger mobile unit with additional capacity for cancer screening.

These mobile unit will cover all the developmental block of the district Dehradun on a proper route plan.

The mobile team consisting of One Doctor, Pharmacist, Lab technician, one counselor, nursing assistant, Data entry operator and support staff that will be monitored and under direct guidance through tele and video consultation of the physician appointed at centralized operational facility.

MMU Camp Activities

Centre of excellence (ICU & HDU)

To develop a Centre of excellence for Respiratory Care specifically targeting COVID 19 with state of the art ICU and HDU supported with a highly advanced diagnostic unit ,headed by Pulmonologists Physicians and Radiologist, with Rehabilitation Unit for post Covid complications including clinical psychologist.

Operation of mobile testing van equipped with Antigen testing facility in all 06 blocks of Dehradun district.

Outreach for people in isolation, living alone and in difficult terrains.

Data compilation, analysis and lesson learnt for covid and future preparedness for pandemics.
